What is the Keep Your Home California Reverse Mortgage Assistance Pilot Program (RevMAP)?

Keep Your Home California’s Reverse Mortgage Assistance Pilot Program (RevMAP) is designed to assist eligible senior homeowners who have a Federal Housing Administration (FHA) Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) or proprietary reverse mortgage loans remain in their homes by providing them with up to $25,000 to bring their property taxes, homeowner’s insurance, flood insurance and/or homeowners/condo association dues (property expenses) current. RevMAP benefits are paid directly to the loan servicer to reimburse them for advances paid on behalf of the homeowner for their FHA HECM or proprietary reverse mortgage loans. Senior homeowners may also be eligible to have up to 12 months of future property charges paid on their behalf.
